I write about the music I like and have purchased for the benefit of better understanding it and sharing my preferences with others.

Episode #9: Brandenburg Concerto #5, BWV 1050

Shownotes

The fifth Brandenburg Concerto is scored for flute, violin, and harpsichord in the concertino. In this episode, I find the roles among the three parts interesting, in addition to this being one of the very first concertos written with a solo keyboard part.

Episode #10: the Goldberg Variations, BWV 988

Episode #8: Christ lag in Todesbanden, BWV 4
